White Manjushri is renowned as one who grants the power of ultimate wisdom. A peaceful bodhisattva, White Manjushri holds a sword in his right hand to represent the anniliation of ignorance. In his left hand, he holds the Prajna Paramita sutra, symbolizing his attainment of the perfection of wisdom. White Manjushri sits in the full vajra posture aloft a moon disc with the sambhogakaya adornments. It is believed that the worship of Manjushri blesses one with wisdom, intelligence, eloquence and a strong memory.
